Hi, I’m Colin! I believe that empathy, understanding, and curiosity are the foundations of all strong client-therapist relationships, and I strive to carry these values with me into all my sessions. Having a good experience in therapy can truly change someone’s life for the better which is why I am so passionate about this work. I specialize in eating disorders, anxiety disorders, and bipolar & psychotic illnesses. I am dedicated to fostering a safe space where I help clients untangle life’s challenges, develop skills and self-esteem, navigate relationships, and ultimately build the life they want to live.
Healing is a process which occurs in the context of safe, attuned, and trusting relationships – people may find this healing relationship with a loved one, coach, mentor, partner, or teacher, to name a few, as well as with a therapist. With a connection like this present, therapy becomes a space where clients can develop insight into current and past patterns and learn new ways of relating to others. Over time, this relationship-centered approach can lead to deeper self-awareness, improved relationships and quality of life, and continued emotional growth.
When I’m not in session, you’ll find me doing a host of different things. I love to read (always open to recs), get outside, spend time with friends and loved ones, try new coffee shops/brands (especially dark roast), hang out with my two rabbits (Honeycomb and Mattie), and play video games. I am from Boston, MA originally and I am a huge Celtics and Patriots fan – I hope this is not a deal breaker for us. I love to laugh and I do not take myself too seriously. Connecting with others fills my cup which is why I love being a therapist so much!
