I specialize in working with teens and young adults who are navigating trauma symptoms, anxiety, and mood disorders. I know deeply how challenging it is to move through these transformative stages of life that are so often accompanied by self-doubt, a slew of internal and external pressures, and a sense of disconnection from one’s truest self. In my sessions, I offer warmth, understanding, humor, and guidance to help you explore areas in your life that would benefit from positive change, identify the best next steps in your recovery, get in touch with your most authentic self, and live more in alignment with your values. In addition to working with clients, I'm a Virginia Board Approved Supervisor and enjoy supervising new therapists in the process of obtaining LPC licensure.
All brains have a natural capacity to move toward healing once we have the space to get in touch with what is true within us. This work best unfolds in a space rooted in trust, warmth, and connection. From this space, old patterns can soften, and new ways of being can begin to take shape.
Outside of the therapy office, I am usually snuggling with my two cats, watching reality TV, trying new sports, planning my next trip, or trying to find the best sandwich in the DMV area.
