Hi, I’m Jackie! As a therapist, my goal is to empower and support individuals in living fully and authentically. I bring curiosity, empathy, and dedication to my work, with a focus on helping those affected by eating disorders and other mental health challenges. I practice from a trauma-informed and HAES-aligned perspective. I will always meet you where you are and work with you to discover the goals that matter most to you in therapy.
It’s even my phone background! Nerdy I know. My goal is to help you achieve this as well. I approach therapy with empathy, self-compassion, and respect for your unique journey. I have dedicated the last 5 years of my practice focusing on eating disorders, trauma, and the struggles that come with life transitions. I am dedicated to tailoring therapy to your needs and your life; always open to feedback and collaboration.
When I’m not working, I love exploring new places with my dog, Rocky, visiting craft shows around the state, and browsing the shelves at Barnes & Noble. I’m known for being crafty and a bit silly, enjoying the little joys in life.
Jackie completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and went on to earn her Master of Social Work at George Mason University. She started her work with eating and co-occurring disorders in 2020. She has extensive experience working in inpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient (IOP) levels of care. Jackie has supported individuals and families of all ages as they navigate the complex challenges of eating disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions.
Jackie strives to create a safe and collaborative space where clients—especially those new to therapy—feel empowered to explore their relationship with themselves and their recovery journey. She is currently under the supervision of Alicia Ayvas, LCSW, CEDS, as she works toward earning her Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) credential. She’s eligible to obtain the certification by the end of 2025!
