I’m here to help create a safe and empowering atmosphere where you can begin to heal from trauma and other challenges you’ve experienced. I use a research-driven, multi-disciplinary, integrative approach that honors self-efficacy and encourages you to take the lead in your therapeutic journey with the support of myself and other treatment providers. I am passionate about using your inherent strengths to help you move to place of stability and balance focusing on the connection between the brain and the body. I strongly believe coping skills are adaptive and that our brains constantly attempt to move us to a place of stability, even if, at times, that is difficult to see.
YOU can heal you! It’s not about what's wrong with you, it’s about what happened to you. Finding a safe space that encourages healing can be difficult to find and asking for help can be an intimidating prospect. Let’s create a space where you can begin to reconnect with yourself, empowering all parts of you to choose the path YOU want.
I’m a left-handed girl from Tennessee who loves a good time. I love music on patios, porch swings, dogs, and adventures (especially ones that involve bodies of water). You’ll either find me shopping or planning how I’m going to buy and renovate a historic home. A girl can dream!
My friends would describe me as independent, non-judgemental, loyal, and a little rebellious. I’m always up for thinking outside the box or looking for a loophole.
