Hi, I’m Mickey! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in eating disorders and personality disorders. I practice from a person-centered approach of non-judgmental compassion and warmth to explore how your past experiences impact your current thoughts and behaviors, and I gently challenge each of my clients to explore how this can impact your relationships with yourself and others.
Mickey’s ultimate goal in her work is to foster a sense of acceptance and understanding within each of her clients. The hope of therapy is to create a safe space where clients feel accepted and validated, and feel empowered in their ability to explore all aspects of themselves in order to ultimately work toward their most authentic, whole and healthy self. There is so much healing in connection, and that is where the power of therapy truly shines!
When I’m not at work you can find me watching horror movies with my dog, haunting a bookstore with a coffee in hand, baking, crafting anything and everything, dreaming of Halloween, or spending time with my friends and family.
